Fold Protractor Privacy Policy

1. Summary

Fold Protractor is an iPhone app made by Special Glasses LLC ("we", "us"). It does not collect any data about you.

• No account. There is no sign-up or login.
• No network. The app does not connect to the internet. It sends nothing to us or to anyone else.
• No analytics, ads or tracking. The app contains no analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking code, and no third-party code.

2. Sensors

To show a reading, the app reads two sensors on your iPhone:

• Motion (gravity direction), for the level.
• Hinge angle, on iPhone Duo, for the hinge gauge.

These readings are used on your iPhone to draw the screen. They are not sent anywhere. They are not saved, except the zero you set with Lock and the offset you set with Calibrate (see below).

3. What the app stores on your iPhone

The app saves a few settings in its own storage on your iPhone, so they are still there next time you open it:

• Inside or outside hinge reading
• Tolerance (±0.5°, ±1° or ±2°)
• Whether Lock Ruler to Edge is on
• The ruler offset you set with Adjust Rulers
• Hinge calibration offset
• The lock: the angle or gravity direction you set as zero
• The target angle and which reading it is for
• When to show Apple’s rating prompt: how many times you opened the app, when you last left it, and the app version it last asked in

We cannot see this data. Deleting the app deletes it. Like other app data, it can be included in your iPhone backups, which Apple handles under its own privacy policy.

4. Purchases and App Store data

Apple handles downloads and payment through the App Store. We do not receive your name, Apple Account or payment details. Apple may give us sales reports, and, if you chose to share with app developers in your iPhone settings, crash reports and app usage statistics. 5. If you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write. We use it only to answer you. We keep it until your question is resolved, then delete it within 12 months unless the law requires us to keep it.

6. This website

This page is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It uses no cookies and no tracking scripts. See section 3 of the Special Glasses Privacy Policy for what Cloudflare may log.

7. Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.

8. Your rights

Because the app collects no personal data, we hold none from it to access, correct or delete. If you emailed us and want that email deleted, write to us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

If the app ever starts collecting data, we will update this page before that version is released and change the date above.
